Cal Culator is built to keep your data yours.
What we collect
Nothing. Cal Culator does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs.
Where your data lives
Everything you enter — your products, photos, meals, daily logs, and goals — is stored only on your device. It never leaves your phone and is never uploaded to any server (we don't run one).
Camera & photos
The app asks for camera access only so you can photograph a product's nutrition label or the product itself. Those images are processed entirely on your device — text recognition and background removal use Apple's on-device frameworks — and are stored locally. They are never transmitted. When you pick a photo from your library, the system photo picker is used, which does not grant access to the rest of your library.
Health information
Calorie and nutrition figures are estimates based on the data you enter. They are not medical or professional nutritional advice. Consult a health professional before making dietary or medical decisions.
Your control
You can edit or delete any product, entry, or meal at any time within the app. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device.
Children
Cal Culator does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
